IPAS Grad Changes Pain Management Training to Combat Opioid Crisis

Omar Abubaker, DMD, PhD, a recent graduate of the IPAS Intermediate Certificate Programme in Addiction Studies and Chair of the Department of Oral and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey at the VCU Health Centers, has taken on a mission to change medical and dental training in pain management. His goal: to combat the opioid crisis.
